For those playing on the WMS server, you may have noticed (if you are near spawn) that I have lovingly constructed a giant trap - by the painstaking placement of about 15000 blocks - to produce mob drops.
The current rate of drops is pretty decent. Simply stand in the collection point, go off and make a cup of tea, and then come back to discover a few full stacks of stuff in your inventory.
