Jones has always been a smug fucker and has a way with words when interviewed. It's been an amusing day starting with him avoiding/denying the content of the movies then crumbling throughout the day to the point where he is just short admitting to having to beg Phil to keep his job.
The fact that one of the possible leaders in waiting would be replaced by Tizard who lost a virtually guaranteed seat and was then shuffled down the list to ensure she didn't get an original list seat is icing on the cake.
