National and ACT have been getting up in arms about public funding of political parties since it was first mentioned by Labour in the EFA and then, as soon as they get power, incorporate public funding of political parties but only those parties in favour. I found the hypocrisy rather amusing but fully in line with both National's and ACT's past actions.
