Have the Windsors managed to hold on to the British Monarchy for all eternity? In centuries past, if you wanted to become king, you could usurp the throne with military might.

These days, new laws and values have effectively glued the crown to their head; anyone giving regecide a go would probably not be thought of as the new monarch, regardless of their success.

I feel somewhat cheated of the opportunity to be quite honest.
