Bollocks. I used to work for QSI and I've heard no such thing.

The Edge 21st July 2006 23:24

I'm inclined to think this is all bs too. No link, not happening.

?>Superman 21st July 2006 23:38

Wow... just got that email as well.

WTF?

The Edge 24th July 2006 17:02

I have been disproved. I now believe.

What an odd purchase tho. I would have thought Orcon would have purchased them, they've been doing a lot of acquisitions lately.

What next? Will Woosh phase out one brand, or keep both running?

Woosh and WiMax ?

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/search/sto...6E83027AF10000

I wonder how many people would consider a change if WiMax did cover the country ?

shootme 25th July 2006 14:30

speedkiwi should become a professional evesdropper.

me waits for the "told you so" from him...

speedykiwi 26th July 2006 11:15

Hi guys

damn I should listen to everyones conversation from now on.....maybe I will get rich...To be honest I thought it was crap at first too....I mean Woosh and quicksilver..Oh well. WiMax bring it on. Woosh I have heard is going to get into WiMax but only after more larger companies around the world have fixed the bugs. Remember there are no wireless broadband companies anywhere in the world that are doing well so far.

You were doing well until you said that.
There are a large number of Wireless ISP's globally that would happily disagree with your assertation.

Stick to shopping in Newmarket and listening for market gossip. :p :D

Apologies for doubting your story.

Deff 23rd August 2006 09:31

I doubt he 'overheard' it. More likely was 'in the know' and was bursting to tell someone. Probably a regular poster.

Lat1n0 19th April 2007 15:42

Good news for Woosh customers http://www.woosh.com/ContentClient/W...SubItemID=3104

drake 19th April 2007 16:25

Who gives a fuck , they are both shit companies with shit services.

Noodles 19th April 2007 17:09

fuck, woosh users used to get arse raped for excess usage charges, 6c per MB works out to be $61 per GB.

Rivertrog 20th April 2007 09:32

What the hell is this fascination with reducing to 'dialup' speed every isp in nz seems to have these days... If i wanted a dialup connection i'd buy a dialup connection..... at 1/10th the price!

The Edge 20th April 2007 10:50

Do Woosh still have crappy coverage? Is it still as slow as I remember?

If I had a dollar for every thread you decided to say that you don't give a fuck about it I'd be rich. If you don't care, don't look at the thread and don't post, it's pretty simple really.
