Chasing is bad mmk
 

it is, makes things hella annoying, perhaps some of you will understand why i choose TFC over TF, lets see, in TFC in a clan match or a pug even, if the other side:

-chases
-the Attack fires upon your Attack
-breaks class limits ( 2 hwguys, 2 engies)
-or excessive spamming
-has 4 more players than your team, and wont drop/spec any of them.

they get labelled llamas and flamed for ever and ever and ever and ever..

ofcourse this may be expected on a public server, BUT, in a clanmatch or a pug you're GUARANTEED that the other team will not resort to lame ass tactics.

umm, if the enemy is crossing the bridge(wot ever it is) i will shot anything infront of me, and if i feel like i will follow them back into my base if i can be fucked, case closed, you dont like it, go cry to mummy

ok you do that, the enemy fucks you up, goes for the cap, caps it, your team is 1 cap down, and is going to take them ages to even out because your entire attack is chasing..

We could have two games of attack vs defence... but then I guess we would be playing football rather than TF.

chasing is useless but feel free to chase any time you like against me; especially if my team is winning at the time and please demo it so that the rest of us can, in times to come, when we are bored with nothing to do, play back the demo for a good laugh

I for one hate chasing, as a scout if your hit wth a rocket entering a base your as good as dead if u come accoss anything of a reasonable opponent.. so chasing pisses me off big time..

on the other hand, you cant stop it from happening, its totally free will, the chasers themselves must be convinced to stop..

I'm sure we all hate chasing, probably more so for me as I have no sound and usually can't know if a rocket is firing up my ass until it hits me and the wall is in my face. I hate bridge defenders as much as anybody but I don't complain because if it came down to it, I know I'd do it because it works.

If I'm attacking and someone runs across the bridge, I'm not going to just let them go without a rocket, or even just a blast from the good old shotgun. I think some people confuse this with chasing. I wouldn't waste my time following them into my base unless it was Jin as a scout just to fuck him off.

What does piss me off tho is when people bog down the game with shitloads of rules. I mean honestly...

thats god damn right , Chasing is a GOOD tactic, why should you let the enemy get away, a cap is from the moment you grab the flag to the moment you place it down. I just cant comprehend the fact (proly cos i'm scout) of letting an enemy get away and having to just stand there and let him... of course I'm going to try and stop him, I've seen instances where the enemy may only be a matter of yards from capping, but they cant get to the flag and it returns, and what the hell is wrong with that?

Well..that has to be the biggest piece of arse bandit fortress crap I have ever encountered..the last game of tf i played ever was with rpm..when we played tc I think..anyway I was defending and spamming the bridge on 2fort 5 and chasing the flagcarrier etc..the next thing shoyu and a few others are giving me shit and telling me not to chase them..its all part of the game folks..defending..spamming ..chasing..
