Yeah it has been a long time, ya big lug.

Nice work, as always.

I'm picking up my H50 today or tomorrow so I'll be snapping my own stuff soon hopefully. Just gotta figure out the best way to make the most of my camera :)

Havs 24th June 2008 10:05

Dylan, the upper left shot is primo.

Ah, Lumpy, long time no talk. H50 huh, most of my images are taken with a Sony Alpha, which is probally not to different to your H5. I use some pretty nice glass but the H50 looks like its got a nice lense too.

Best advice I could give, would be to get Adobe Lightroom (beta 2 is free for 30 days) and start kicking around in that.

Speed3D 24th June 2008 20:46

I really hope this thread is still alive and kicking by the time I'm able to post some of my stash of photos. :D

Ive been taking a few shots since I got to Melbourne too (around 1000 so far :D), some of which might be kinda ok to post. :D

BTW, resize + border is a nice way to present for web...

Ab 24th June 2008 20:59

(repost from the camera thread) This is the last photo of mine that I thought turned out nicely. I was playing with MHG in his room a couple of Saturday mornings ago and I realised that the sun coming in through the venetian blinds was creating some really stark shadows.

Simon: NOICE! That's what I call a framer. Maybe even get it printed onto that canvas-like stuff if that's what you're into.

Toksin 24th June 2008 21:17

Fantastic pic, Simon!
