I would like that, but I feel like that won't happen. It's going to be a tight, low-scoring game. As is the norm for RWC finals. Just to make your bum squeak a bit more.

prediction: dropgoalapalooza

MadMax 31st October 2015 17:08

Richie's last game. Dem feels

Any hope of an online live stream that doesn't go through Sky? If they'll put it free to air on prime, the least they could do is make it free to internet for NZ IPs.

Cyberbob 1st November 2015 00:27

AB's in an important match outside Eden Park?

I'm trying to stay optimistic.

JERI 1st November 2015 05:58

Dear All Blacks.

Please beat the Springboks

Bleedng nose already

pxpx 1st November 2015 06:54

Man the Aussies are good at the breakdown, so many turnovers!

ABs look so good (apart from s few handling errors)... Do Australia have a 2nd half comeback in them?

fixed_truth 1st November 2015 06:58

40 more minutes of that would be good!

Fx. 1st November 2015 07:51

:)

CCS 1st November 2015 08:03

Nonu! Beaudie! Oh! Oh! OH!

CCS 1st November 2015 08:06

Oh, and Daniel from Christchurch - nice kicking. You'll go far.

Nothing 1st November 2015 08:19

#WINNING!

Spoon1 1st November 2015 09:58

O for AWESOME!

Man, some sphincter clenching was done in that second half but the finish was sublime! GG.

fixed_truth 1st November 2015 13:06

A lot of haters proved wrong this world cup. No more AB chokers. Carter shouldn't be 1st 5 pfft (seriously is he the best AB ever?). Also my man Sonny-Bill once again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1efwKglwZU

CCS 1st November 2015 15:21

I found this interesting. If someone tries to get past security then they have to stop them. So I don't think there is anything wrong with the kid being tackled.
But good on him if he felt that it would mean more to the kid than to him.

fixed_truth 2nd November 2015 15:20

A lot of people seem to think that the tackle was a bit rough. But yeah good on SBW, that (viral) gesture has been great for him and the All Blacks.

Deadmeat 2nd November 2015 15:50

If it'd been done in NZ, i'd agree that it was a bit rough.
But it was done in the UK, a different magnitude of potential threat applies; security dude sees quick moving person with no way of knowing the persons intent, tackle is absolutely the appropriate response. At least he wrapped the arms...

edit
“I am very surprised, the other boys would’ve done the same thing,” Williams said after the presentation, according to ESPN.

He added: “Also [All Blacks forward] Liam Messam gave him his beanie and is wondering whether he can get a replacement.”

pxpx 2nd November 2015 15:53

Carter converted that last try with his right boot - I must have missed that!

Ab 2nd November 2015 16:42

Still feeling very ragged today. Yesterday's festivities went on a bit longer than was really necessary.

OK,

Ma'a Nonu is a player I used to regularly bag for being a glory-hog who made shitty decisions. He is not that player now. The dude is 100% class, talent, hard work, and maturity and I apologise for everything I've ever said about him. What a performance.

Ab 2nd November 2015 16:58

Also, might I just say how delighted I am to have the lineout as an area of dominance. We've always smashed the Wallabies in the scrums but my arse is still bleeding from the Eales and Gregan years when the Wallabies would kick for touch knowing they had a good chance of stealing the lineout.

blynk 2nd November 2015 17:30

Yep, it took Nonu a little while to grow but he is absolutely brilliant now.

The lineouts have been great. Just about no lineout loses and plenty of lineout steals. Not just against Australia, but against SA as well.

My thought was the same. There have been plenty of international stories where school age children want to go out with a bang.

Cyberbob 2nd November 2015 23:46

I thought the boy was an innocent young kid that got away from his caregiver and got a little too excited.

Nope, he's a 14yo private school student.

Nice gesture by SBW, but over the top.

Ab 3rd November 2015 01:44

fuck does his school have to do with it?

pxpx 3rd November 2015 08:57

I swear some of you guys sound like sports talkback radio callers.

SBW can do whatever the fuck he wants, lol?

Edit- thought this was lol-as considering Chucks support of the Aussies against "The New Zealand Blacks"
