I moved to Wellington 5 weeks ago and have been doing a bit of videoing around the place.
I caught the Thundercat races at Lyall Bay a couple of weeks ago testing my lenses etc and put a bit of a thingy together. Fuck it was windy!
It's overexposed in places and the web compression has introduced a lot of artifacts which sux, and there was no surf so no carnage... but yeah.

You are being a little too hard on yourself. The composition often was very nice, especially liked the long focus ones with the plane or shipping moving through in the background. You also capture the speed of the event nicely with those frontal shots. Pretty well edited too, nice job.
