Just popped out to gas up a vehicle, and the BP was in lockdown mode - overnight pay window only. A pile of Gypsy buses and be-flagged wagons trying to get coffees without masks and not being allowed in to peruse the chiller for a berry smoothie.

On a reasonably busy intersection - so lots of honking and hollering and the convoy slowly turns toward SH1. From the wrong direction?

Old men just pulling in to get gas for the lawnmower in abject confusion. Petrol at an all time high, and these guys are driving at 10km the length of the country.

Support mental health initiatives, the weak of mind and spirit whom are easily led, and take a hit for the greater good you bunch of selfish cunts.

Just got back from an overnighter to Dunners and back. A smattering (ie <10) farmers had anti-mandate posters up at the gate. Saw a bunch of covidiots in the central city near the Octagon, but just as I was about to get the window down and encourage an alternative course of action, the co-pilot started freaking out about my lane alignment and some barricade or something, and the corrective action had me bolting up the wrong street. Saw more going through Ashburton, two which the co-pilot suggested something from above. Or at least that's where her finger was pointing. Finally got on the home straight (which in hindsight may the the Coast to coast route) and saw some graffiti I approved of - a bridge/culvert emblazened with "Clownvoy 2022" - only to turn around the bend and find half a dozen flag covered vehicles parked up. Waiting for the sports coverage I guess.

One guy (wearing high viz) started following me around, thinking I was oblivious, so I started following HIM around to see what his problem was and he went to the first aid tent and told them. That's when I was told I looked like a trouble maker. I had to convince them I was simply looking around, and not there to incite shit.
