The phrase "IN THE SEA!" comes to mind. But then AFL is brutal and I don't want to get bet up...

I don't watch, follow, understand, or have the slightest interest in the AFL comp. But the Sydney Swans are my team. You have to have "a team" just to be able to make conversation. Especially in Melbourne. So, when you find a place to live, that area's team is your team for ever.

Just embrace your default team. When I first moved to Melbourne, I stayed in Richmond, so the Tigers were the default for me. Go Tigers!
