Some dude seated nearby fell asleep and started snoring early on in the movie... I was all ready to hulk smash, but he woke up and saved me the trouble of getting off my comfy, comfy seat :P

Saw Avengers the other night in a packed cinema. My experience was not enhanced by having some fat, stupid bitch with a bad dose of flu sitting next to me. Either she was making obvious comments to her dumb-dumb friend, rustling an XXL packet of stinky Doritos, or coughing and sneezing without covering her mouth. I spent the whole movie worried I was going to catch something nasty. Seriously, fuck going to the movies.

I was going to go to see Avengers this afternoon, Ajax has put the fear in me now, not sure how to proceed.

Yeah, lately my vision has deteriorated to the point that I only really have sharp focus on things that are quite close. If I go to see stuff at the movies these days it will all be out of focus because the screen is too far away. And glasses are fucking expensive when you're a student.

I will wait until the crowd dies down before seeing The Avengers in a couple of weeks. No hurry. Or maybe by that time I would have lost interest and wouldn't be bother. Then I would wait for DVD. No hurry.

I would have happily paid a movie ticket to go and see it but I won't wait for dvd after it's been out for a year in the states. It is just re-enforcing their bad behaviour.

Avengers fucking owns. Went gold class for it (yeah, screw going to the normal theatres with flu-ridden, packet-rustling peasants), well worth the over-inflated ticket cost. Massive action, Scarlett Johansen, the Mother Fucking Hulk fucking shit up all over the place. It was awesome! As per all the other Marvel movies in the last couple of years, don't leave the theatre too early.

Watched Avengers, really enjoyed it, to date the best Marvel movie to date IMO.
Hulk was so damned awesome needed more of the big fella for the laughs.
Well worth the 3D experience.

Just about to burst into print about plot holes, missing characters and incongruencies with the 1982 version, and then the credits roll and everything is all right.

They had me going - I was convinced that the American helicopter pilot had to survive just to match up with the 1982 version. And got thoroughly confused when knowing this I saw he was missing his earring. And the English guy having perfect teeth?? Come on - suspension of disbelief is one thing, but that was pushing it.
