Between this and SF4 i need a good six button joystick, anyone?
|
Hori Real Arcade Pro 3, works for both PC and PS3. Tournament grade.
I think you might have import it though, don't know of any one in NZ that sells it. |

Sorry I must have missed it, where did anyone mention that the quality of the sprites have undergone a major change giving them far less quality and a style more akin to the Alpha series rather than SF3.

All of the impressions I've heard of SF4 is that it's amazing. I have faith they've done good work _b

well, it's out and I like it
the 360 gamepad isn't actually as bad as I'd thought, but it's still pretty bad |
The 360 gamepad is terribad - any decent sticks available right now that aren't too expensive? I've got my eye on the SF4 ultra limited edition (comes with an arcade stick made with sanwa arcade components) but it's not out yet, so... I really don't want to play any more of this game with the 360 dpad :/
|
I use an Hori Ex2 arcade stick and its good, still really blown away by the graphics, gets me everytime, still pumped for Sf4.
|
Gotta say this game is awesome :D

I'm using a Hori Ex2 as well. It's good enough, until something better like the madcatz SF4 joystick comes along. Beats hell out of using a standard controller, anyway.

Would anything let me use my 10th anniv edition arcade stick for xbox/ps2 with with my ps3?
It was a good little thing back in the day. |
I have a couple of those sticks too. There are some adapters like the Pelican ones but when it comes to those, you pays your money you takes your chances.

That said I want a stick. What I don't want is a stick that can be attached to something really SOLID. In my experience it doesn't matter how good the stick is, if the thing slides around it's basically a waste of time. |
How much is 1200 XBL credits in NZ dollars?
|
30 slides Gee

I can't not play even with the shitty controller eh :D The game is like christmas happened a month early :D

My lust for revenge is too great to play this game.
If my fireball doesn't connect, you can bet your damn ass i'm going to try that exact same move again, even if retrying that move is the dumbest thing I could do, I'll do it, and will probably get me punished severely. That and always using the heavy/hard/fierce version of the attacks. I played far too much early mortal kombat, tekken and soul calibur to play a good SF game these days. |
loving zangief who I never really got into before this version

At the end of the day - SF2 only needed 2 buttons. HP and HK. Everything else is just a filler.

After a quick google for Tatsunoko, I was really hoping for some Neon Genesis, Samurai Pizza Cats, Speed Racer crossover |

Been playing this with a friend of mine in Australia, and the netcode is astoundingly good. Feels pretty much lagless in comparison to Soul Calibur IV which still feels a bit sluggish with half the latency.
|
this come out in the NZ PSN store yet? (too lazy to check when I get home)
