Such awesome, much statement....

What could possibly go wrong now?

Have these guys not seen Red Sparrow?

The Edge 20th July 2018 11:46

Trump made the cover of Time again this week.

fixed_truth 20th July 2018 12:20

He'll have the last laugh when it turns out that there really wasn't weapons of mass distraction!?!

Nich 1st August 2018 13:09

As much as I respect Reaper as a low cost music making software, they have decided to blend politics and sound engineering with their version releases. Not a good mix.

DrTiTus 13th August 2018 19:30

No one has mentioned #QAnon yet.

I would have expected at least a mention, but nothing? (Apart from StN mentioning Red Sparrow)

I'm interested to hear your own views/opinions! I personally find it fascinating and entertaining - if it's a LARP it's well done... if not, it's very intriguing!

pxpx 30th August 2018 15:47

I still cannot believe this dude is President of the USA.

Nich 30th August 2018 16:12

People are tired of a system full of middle managers that generates the same result regardless of who gets elected. Donald Trump is not the better choice, he is clearly the worst choice. He is the wrecking ball that the people want and need.

Lightspeed 30th August 2018 17:08

I think Sanders would have made a difference, but the DNC rigged the primaries for Hilary. At least it sure looked that way.

I've said it before - I reckon if Bernie had gotten in, he would have given Trump a real run for his money.

blynk 3rd September 2018 10:40

Totally agree, it would have been interesting to see what would have happened.

Although if Sanders won, I imagine it would have been like Obama. Alot of big dreams, but then they get screwed over by the House/Senate.
Especially seen as they are republican at the moment.

Can't wait till November to see how it lands.

And unfortunately for Sanders, he will be too old to run again.

The Edge 3rd September 2018 20:36

I reckon Trump probably shouldn't even run again (I think him and Sanders are around the same age), especially if Mike Pence becomes President then :O

Deadmeat 6th September 2018 06:57

The repub primary process is going to be awesome.

The Times today is taking the rare step of publishing an anonymous Op-Ed essay. We have done so at the request of the author, a senior official in the Trump administration whose identity is known to us and whose job would be jeopardized by its disclosure. We believe publishing this essay anonymously is the only way to deliver an important perspective to our readers.
I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration

I think that’s called a coup d’etat.

Also, if you're gonna be a whistleblower, you'd best first choose what side your on:

If you're looking out for the people, are anti-war, want protection of privacy, and care about the common good pointing out true amorality and hypocrisy, then you're going in a deep dark hole.

If your whistleblowing propotes a return to a figurehead that doesn't question globalisation, protects the USD/OIL world-currency, and asks us to trust social media surveillance algorithms that weed out dissent. Well, you'll not only get published, but you might receive a nobel peace prize.

On the otherhand, what we may be witnessing here is some 4D Chess moves. Richard Nixon's "crazy man" foreign policy has nothing on Trump's. If every article and news piece about you says you are erratic, crazy, stupid, cannot be tamed, and the whitehouse is in disarray, then you have the upper hand in all foreign relations. Trump has Dark Templars on your mineral line, and you haven't built any (bullshit) detectors.

Proof they genuinely do work for the Trump administration.

Cyberbob 6th September 2018 15:17

LA Times fires back.

No, anonymous Trump official, you're not 'part of the resistance.' You're a coward

Then it is a coup, and the constitutional crisis/civil war this entails.

One man's coup is another's 25th amendment enforcement..

Seriously, disagree entirely.

The 25th amendment is part of the system.

A nonelected official taking it upon himself to ignore or modify the instructions of the elected President is a coup.

If this guy gave a shit about the Constitution which he has sworn to uphold he'd step forward, quit his job, make his claims, and call for impeachment proceedings. That he hasn't means he is part of the fucking problem. Fuck me, for all I know Jared Kushner wrote the op-ed on Trump's behalf to distract people from the Woodward book and suck up oxygen so no-one has brainspace to protest Kavanaugh's SC nomination.

Which would achieve absolutely nothing besides ruining their own career. There is no way the republicans are going to impeach him <change my mind meme>

Ab 8th September 2018 01:42

Um, so?

You know what this stinks of? Someone making sure he’s not the last man standing when the music stops. This is someone realizing that the good ship Donald is going down, and when it does this fucker’s going to greet the cops with “oh thank god you’re here, it’s been just terrible, but I was really on your side the whole time, honestly”

Fuck this guy

this is the kind of story that will get Rachel Maddow a Pulitzer. 40-minutes of sexual innuendo, and regular reminders of how shocked we all should be.
